The annual event is presented by the University of Virginia Department of Anesthesiology and the School of Medicine to showcase this year’s research. Everyone is welcome to learn more about the department’s research efforts, enjoy a chat with colleagues, and support other researchers who have contributed greatly to our research mission.

The Keynote Speaker is Dr. David O. Warner, MD, Emeritus Professor of Anesthesiology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Dr. Warner will present on these topics: “My Accidental Research Career,” “Deadliest Catch: Substance Use Disorder in Anesthesiologists,” & “Professionalism Writ Large: Amplifying Your Influence.”

The schedule of events is listed below. Please join us to support and celebrate our researchers. Additionally, researchers with a poster that is not more than one year old who wish to present it during the event, space may still be available. In this case, please contact Dr. Zhiyi Zuo, Executive Vice Chair in the Department of Anesthesiology by Monday May 13th.
